The L.I.V.E. Initiative
Local connection. Inspiring our Youth. Valuing our Veterans. Engaging our Seniors.
As a wife, entrepreneur, and community leader, I know real change happens when we lead with people—not politics. That’s why I created the L.I.V.E. Initiative—a people-first plan that centers connection, care, and community in everything we do.

Why I’m Running
I’m currently running for a city-wide
At-Large seat on the McDonough City Council.
I’m running for McDonough City Council At-Large because I believe in the power of community and the importance of representation that reflects all of McDonough. Since moving here in 2021, I’ve immersed myself in our city, attending council meetings, supporting local businesses, listening to residents, and learning how our government works.
I’m not a career politician. I’m the wife of a 21-year retired Army Veteran, mother of 3 (28, 27, & 20), and grandmother to 2. I am a community member, small business owner, professor, board chair and member and advocate who’s deeply committed to making McDonough a place where everyone feels informed, engaged, and connected.
As a wife, entrepreneur, and community leader, I know real change happens when we lead with people, not politics. That’s why I created the L.I.V.E. Initiative—a people-first plan that centers connection, care, and community in everything we do.
This campaign is about clarity, courage, and connection. It’s about ensuring our local government is accessible, transparent, and truly working with the people, not just for them. Let’s build a better McDonough, together.
